Chinese New Year Festival & Parade in San Francisco

Feb 11, 2006 Saturday evening, I visited San Francisco with family and friends to see the Chinese New Year Parade. A vacant stretch of the curb on Kearny St. was turned into a comfort seat for us to sit and enjoy this event.

The parade was one of a kind that displayed a colorful show of Chinese heritage and culture. The only way I can describe this event with the many pictures that I shot - "A picture is worth a thousand words". If it had not been for the camera's battery that died half way through the event, I might have shot a thousand pictures.

This is just the trailer, so stay tuned.
